About Found Footage
If you didn't already know, found footage basically implies regular everyday footage you might find on a security camera, laptop camera, regular handheld camera, iPhone, etc. (even though it's technically fiction) - as opposed to fancy Hollywood-style filmmaking with all the ultra-expensive equipment, special effects, video editing, etc. The found footage genre kind of lends a more "realistic" aspect to the horror (though found footage doesn't necessarily have to apply solely to the horror genre), which can be fun, and, well, usually quite low budget haha.
About Burt, Betty, and the Ghost
As for my film, it's called "Burt, Betty, and the Ghost," it was shot entirely from my laptop camera, and it basically stars only me haha. It's only a little over fourteen minutes long and is about an introverted loner experiencing supernatural activity—and maybe more—in his late parents’ home. The thumbnail came out a little fuzzy (see above), but I think that's okay for this particular genre. Anyway, even though the film is somewhat creepy, it's definitely more on the comical side, I'd say. At least, I think so, but check it out and see for yourself! I hope you enjoy!
